Vegan Tip #1: Find a vegan-friendly kebabery and...
Yesterday, I had to look for about 2 hours before I found I place that looked like it would have something I could eat and like. I ended up at a kebabery (that is most certainly a word!), and ordered a kebab with falafels, salad, tabouleh, jalapenos, hummus, and chili sauce. It was magnifico! That restaurant is now on my short list of vegan-friendly restaurants.

In 2 days...
I will have been vegetarian for a year, and vegan for about 2 months! I think this calls for a celebration. What shall I do? Bake a cake? Cook a super-delicious dinner? I wish I had some vegetarian friends. It’s nice that one of my friends is considering going vegetarian. Maybe I could catch up with him and do something. I’ll be happy anyway about what I have achieved so far for...

I have been a bit stupid. I’ll explain. When I went vegetarian I didn’t tell everyone, “Hey, I’m vegetarian now! No more meat for me!” Instead I just avoided all meat. That meant my family would still offer me meat, not knowing I no longer ate it. It took a while before that caught on that I was a vegetarian.
